Areca Palm

This palm’s soil arrived dry from it’s long journey from HPS in CA to TX, so of course I watered it after unpacking and the next morning the soil was covered in some fuzzy white mold or fungus on top of the pot and coming out the bottom of the pot. This is my first set of houseplants so I was a bit concerned with the fuzzy stuff since none of the other plants I ordered showed signs of this. I emailed customer service which was of no help other than to tell me if it doesn’t make it in 30 days I can get a replacement. I ended up tossing all the soil that it was shipped with and repotted it in 6” pot with fresh soil. It seems to like it and I’m not seeing the white fuzzy stuff any longer- I also put 3-1 garden spray on the soil after repotting, just in case there was any left on the plant after shaking off the old soil. All - in - all this palm is my favorite of the bunch so far.

First plant didn’t make the trip very well but you sent a replacement and it’s doing well. Great customer service

I ordered 3 plants in 4 inch pots. The heat pack had expired but the plants survived the shipping. This is the Areca palm, it is almost 2 feet high, love it, thank you so much.

I ordered 2 of these palms, but they were not shipped with the other plants I ordered. I sent a email out to the customer service department where she was very kind and professional. My 2 palms made it home within a week. I am very pleased with the plants and service.
