Bored at home with nothing to do? Don’t have $ to purchase holiday decorations?
Yup and yup?
We got chu! Try liven up your plants with fun Clay pins!

In lieu of the spooky season, we made our clay pins spooky themed. The goodies you’ll need for this project are:
Oven bake Clay: We used Scupley Polymer clay and loved it!
Wooden skewers
Sand paper
Acrylic paint
Option: Sealant spray or Resin

Step 1

Make you figurine. It's a dealer's choice so let your imagination run wild!

Step 2

Attach the wooden skewers to the back.
Tip: Push the wooden skewers in instead of impaling, then cover the exposed skewer side with more clay.

Step 3

Bake according to the clay packet instructions.

Step 4

When making these figurines, we sometimes leave behind fingerprints and rough edges. So to smooth and buff away the blemishes, use sandpaper.
Tip: It's never good to inhale clay dust, so use a mask and make sure you’re in a well ventilated area.

Step 5

Paint!
Tip: We suggest acrylic paint due to its opacity compared to water color, and its non-toxic trait.

Step 6

Seal!
Tip: Use sealant spray for matte finish and Resin for glossy.

Have fun crafting!
